Bioidentical
What does it mean to be bioidentical? The replacement hormone molecule is an exact copy of what the human body makes, naturally. Bioidenticals replace exactly what your body had when it was making proper amounts when you were younger.
Not synthetic, not an analog, not a patented.
Testosterone
People who suffer from low testosterone usually have many symptoms. Less muscle mass, less bone density and lowered libido are among the primary concerns. Within the naturopathic formulary are testosterone boosting formulas that are plant and nutritionally derived allowing the body to keep the pathways that make testosterone active.
Dr. Travis offers Testosterone Replacement as well as testosterone boosting formulas that are all natural and plant-derived and over the counter without a prescription. We also monitor your progress with blood testing along the way.
Progesterone
Progesterone is another crucial hormone playing a significant in both men and women. Progesterone is known as the “calming hormone”. It works in conjunction with Estrogens to balance out the effects of aging.

Estrogens
Estrogens are the crucial female hormones that make a woman a woman. As women get older, they lose the ability to produce it at levels needed to keep many systems running smoothly.

DHEA
DHEA is a precursor hormone produced by the adrenal glands, liver and intestines, that provides the building blocks for both the Estrogens and Testosterone pathways. It’s known for enhancing the immune system, providing more energy, helping build muscle and slowing the aging process. Just like the above hormones, the use of DHEA must be monitored by lab results. Taking DHEA in excess can leave the patient with unwanted side effects.
DHEA has been shown to have a neuroprotective effect, meaning those with proper levels of it have healthier neurological function. The brain contains high levels of DHEA. DHEA is currently being studied for use in treatment for cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s.
DHEA is offered in over the counter supplemental oral form.
Pregnenolone
Pregnenolone is another precursor hormone produced throughout the body that provides the building blocks for both the Progesterone, DHEA, and Cortisol pathways. Aside from assisting in Progesterone production (calming, balancing the Pg/E2 ratio), Pregnenolone has been shown to provide an anti-neurological degeneration effect. It is currently being investigated as a treatment for Alzheimer’s.
